💛 How It All Began

Hi, I am Emily, the happiest of hookers!!

Some of my earliest memories are of sitting beside my mum — a professional knitter, crafting genius, and all-round wizard with wool.
While her needles clicked away like magic, I’d be off turning leftover yarn into zip lines for action figures. (Honestly, 10/10 childhood entertainment.)

Back then, crafting was comfort, connection, and love.
But I didn’t realise just how powerful it could be until my world flipped upside down.

🌧️ Finding Calm in the Chaos

In 2020, the world shut down.
A family tragedy, lockdown - helpless, heartbroken, and hanging by a very frayed thread.

So, I took the freyed thread and learnt something new to distract from the pain. Something that was easy to do and easy to immerse into.
I taught myself to crochet — badly, at first. (Truly tragic attempts at “beanies.”)

But in those quiet late-night hours, something shifted.
Crochet became my anchor, my reset button, and eventually, my therapy.

✨ From Hobby to Healing

Fast-forward a few years — career, kids, chaos.
Crochet went from a hobby to a survival strategy. The stitches got neater, the makes got prettier, and people actually wanted to buy them.

Even better? Crochet cured my chaos.

• Online shopping sprees: mostly under control.
• Calm and creativity: way up.

Somewhere between the yarn tangles and quiet moments, I realised: this wasn’t just my hobby — it was my happy place.
